The Intensive Care Unit at the Cairo Kidney Center CKC provides comprehensive and continuous care, including monitoring and treatment for critically ill and unstable patients.
The ICU features a specialized team including ICU and nephrology consultants, along with nursing and physical therapy staff, in addition to consultants from various surgical and medical specialties to provide consultations as needed.

Developing a treatment plan for acute or chronic kidney failure, or acute medical and/or surgical cases requiring intensive monitoring and intervention

Post-operative care: Especially for our patients after kidney transplantation or other surgical procedures.
Medical Devices and Equipment:
The Intensive Care Unit includes four equipped beds to provide optimal care for patients.
Each bed is equipped with the following:
Vital signs monitoring: Continuous monitoring of ECG, blood pressure, and oxygen saturation.
Oxygen network
Dialysis machines: On-site for patients requiring dialysis.
Infusion pumps.
Ventilator.
Cardiac resuscitation devices.
