The Cairo Kidney Center CKC provides dialysis and apheresis services using various dialysis machines, tailored to the patient’s condition, the attending consultant’s recommendations, and in accordance with international guidelines.
Acute and Critical Dialysis: Acute dialysis and plasmapheresis are exclusively provided at the main hospital in downtown Cairo, in addition to pediatric dialysis. Patients can also receive critical dialysis treatment in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU), where appropriate medical monitoring is available.
Chronic Dialysis: Available at the main center and sub-branches. We cater to all dialysis needs, including pediatric dialysis. Patients with Hepatitis C are treated in isolated units according to the Egyptian Ministry of Health regulations. We do not provide medical services for Hepatitis B and HIV patients; they are referred to specialized facilities for treatment as per the Ministry of Health instructions.
The dialysis units at the Main Center, 6th of October, Maadi, and Heliopolis offer halls for patients who prefer to have their sessions in separate cabins or rooms, where they can be accompanied by one or two visitors.
Continuous Care and Safety
All units are electronically linked, allowing online access to patient data for sharing information across locations. This enables the transfer of patients between units while ensuring continuity of treatment and access to personal records.
Post-Dialysis Care: Every chronic dialysis patient receives personalized and detailed care tailored to their overall well-being, helping to improve health outcomes.
