The CKC Medical Imaging Department is fully equipped to perform both standard imaging techniques and specialized diagnostic and interventional procedures pertinent to renal disease and its complications.
ULTRASOUND
- High-Resolution Ultrasound: Advanced imaging for detailed examination.
- Portable Ultrasound: Available for bedside examinations, particularly for inpatients and ICU patients.
- Doppler Ultrasound: Includes CCD (Color-Coded Doppler), power Doppler, and duplex Doppler for detailed vascular studies.
- Ultrasound-Guided Renal Biopsy: Precision-guided biopsies for accurate diagnosis.
- Ultrasound-Guided Interventional Procedures: Facilitates a range of procedures with real-time imaging guidance.
RADIOLOGY
- X-Ray Machine with Image Intensification: For performing all standard diagnostic radiographic procedures.
- Portable X-Ray Machine: Enables imaging for inpatients and those in the ICU without needing to move them to the radiology department.
