Dialysis Services
CKC provides all types of dialysis and blood component separation in accordance with international recommendations.
- Acute and critical Dialysis: Acute dialysis, plasmapheresis, and hemodiafiltration, as well as pediatric hemodialysis, are provided only in the main hospital, downtown Cairo. Critically ill patients can receive highly sophisticated dialysis treatment in the ICU, where regular cardiac and respiratory monitoring and ventilation, if necessary, are available.
- Chronic Dialysis: Available at both our headquarters and satellite units. We cater to all dialysis needs, including pediatric hemodialysis.
Hepatitis C positive patients are treated in isolated units following Egyptian MOH regulations, although transmission of infection is extremely rare, as shown by the very low sero-conversion rates.
- Personalized Comfort: Dialysis units at the headquarters/main hospital, October, Maadi, and Heliopolis offer private zones for patients who wish to receive their sessions in separate cubicles, where they may be accompanied by one or two visitors
Seamless Care & Safety:
- Connected Network: All units are electronically linked, enabling online access to patient and machine data for consultations and information sharing across locations. This facilitates patient transfers between units while ensuring continuity of treatment and access to personal data.
